Frog's Hair By Michaya
I went to Walmart to get a pet there I saw a hairy frog frogs don't have hair, I thought. I touched it and it was wet.
I told my friend she thought I was crazy then I showed her so, I bought it and called it daisy.
Then I took it home I tried to feed it cabbage, rice, even flies then I found out that it doesn't need it.
Then I noticed it still was wet so I went to the store to find out why so they told me "if it doesn't stay wet, it will die".
Well I kept it for any years it outlasted me, my grandchildren kept it music gave it glee.
Eventually it finally died it outlasted generations it ended up on Mars after many migrations. *********

Lost Prairie Wind by Ian, Iver, Erik, Michaya
The wind blows in the trees the wind blows the dust of the prairies the moonlight shines on the trail the coyotes are very gnarly.
The lost prairie wind blows in the bushes the light can be very scary the sun is rising at the dawn and my horses name is Cherry.
********** Sage Brush Bloomin' by Jeremy, Robert, Jordan
Out where the trees grow the greenest out where the waters always clear it's where a cowboy's happiest it's a place that makes him want to cheer.
The place where his friends are at where your horse never needs groomin' that's where I want to be that's where the sage brush's bloomin'.

What I think a Cowboy Is by Ellie
What I think a cowboy is, his heart and soul are free and a cowboy gets dirty and clean in the barn there rough and tough in the saddle there tall and lean.
They wear their gloves when they're fixing fences they gallop through the fields they brand calves and colts and eat their heavy meals.
At night they lie under the stars and they sometimes get kicked by horses their always patient with the longhorns and in the rodeo, they go through the courses.
They put shoes on for the horses and after a long ride they're always tired their horses are loyal to them and they can always retire.
But even when they go retire still their heart and soul are free even when they get restless their minds are still free.
