Wild Horses
by Tessa 6th Grade
When I see wild horses run
I know that their having fun.
I see them run everyday
they love when I feed them hay.
I remember when I was three
when the horses were running free.
I really like it when their calm
because they eat right from my palm.
She's so pretty
they call her Betty
she was so tense
she ran in to the fence.
When it would rain
I would feel pain
when she was free
I would fill with glee.
When we would ride
we would fill with pride
when I would pray
I pray she would stay.

Buffalo Land
by Keeley - 6th grade
Us natives have pride
we roam in the buffalo land
the buffalo are sacred
oh, how the buffalo stand.
Watching the eagles
high in the sky
the feathers are sacred
they bring a tear to the eye.
They have the freedom
we have the pride and power
the eagles glide
hour after hour.
Us native are proud
the fur on the buffalo is grand
we natives don't joke
we roam the buffalo land.
