Lima Public Schools
Lima, Montana
Once there was a horse, a bucking horse named Moon. He was a rodeo horse, of course, who was wily as a coon.
The cowboys all feared him, he threw them every time. Nearly killed was good old Tim, though he was never referred to as slime.
They rode him at nationals, but eight seconds was too long. Though he looked quite fashionable, he was scarier than King Kong.
Then there came a boy named Mack, one of the Montana men. He fearlessly got on Moon's back, to be thrown off again.
"Give me another try screamed Mack," his ears red with shame. "I shall ride this horses' back," as he walked to the chute lame.
He crawled atop old Moon again now crying freely with shame. But laugh at him not did the men, for they admired his game.
The buzzer rang, the chute swung open, Moon came out, madder than ever. Yet Mack held on till the horse was broken,
and that is the end of Moon's endeavor.
