Turner School
Turner, Montana
Montana Farmers calloused hands and broken dreams workin' hard just trying to make ends meet. Weathered face and a farmer's tan working hard to keep the land sacrifice ourselves so others eat.
The price is up, the wheat is down it's too dang wet to make a round we pray each day the sun comes shining through broke down truck, we head to town all my neighbors hanging 'round we don't wait there's other things to do.
chorus Farming ain't for everyone always work, ain't too much fun wakin' up each day at the crack of dawn workin' for a little pay thankful for each sunny day Montana farmers just keep moving on.
Feedin' cattle, pitchin' hay freezing every winter day hoping spring will soon becoming through pushing snow, breaking ice spring is gonna be really nice
a brand new year, everything is new.
Just Like a Cowboy by 3-6 grade Turner School
Once there was a cowboy who lived out on the plains with his cowboy boots and ragged hat and hands on the reins.
He rode a wild mustang across the wholly west delivering the mail for the pony express.
chorus He was just like a cowboy sitting on his saddle all day long just like a cowboy singin' his cowboy song.
He rode like the wind they say he was the best one of many cowboys conquering the west.
he rode for many miles without no sleep or rest riding hard and workin' for the pony express. ***********
